Today was a busy day but I was able to break out the forman grill and create a delightful meatless lunch with the fresh produce I have. Though I don’t have broccoli in the garden (more a hearty winter veg), there was the organic baby variety at Trader Joes. It was generously seasoned with some house made lemon salt and olive oil, grilled, drizzled with honey and a nice salty shaving of parmesan. Perfect for satisfying every taste…smokey, zesty, sweet, savory & bitter. Surprising there was a clean balance to all these experiences, each one was subtle enough to work with the others.
